Porky Gulch Classic Stage Race
Event fee: $60 prior to race day; $75 Day of race.
The Porky Gulch Classic Stage Race is a three-race event over two days
Stage One - Starting at 9:00am on Saturday, the weekend kicks off with The Prologue held on the Mt. Washington Auto Road. This is a timed race from the base of the Auto Road to 2-Mile Park, and involves some of the steepest grades on the Auto Road.
Stage Two - Still Saturday. Head down to Story Land, on Rt. 16 in Glen for the Story Land Crit. This will be a timed race on laps through Story Land! Rider with the most laps wins. (Story Land will be closed to the general public) Beginners start at 1:00pm. Intermediates and Elites at 2:00pm.
Stage Three - Sunday at the Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center at 10:00am. The Rockpile Rampage Cyclocross is a mix of single track, carriage roads, pavement and an obstacle course using a mountain bike or a cyclocross bike. On the carriage roads there will be obstacles where racers have to dismount and carry the bike over them. There are also sections where you have to dismount and run up a hill while carrying the bike.

Atomic Sprints at Great Glen
Event fee: $10 DOR
Even if Mother Nature doesn't cooperate, the Great Glen Trails snowmakers will open up the Geepers Loop for the first race of the season. This sprint race is for all ages and abilities. High School Race - Division 4 Race Series
Hosted by Gorham High School and Great Glen Trails, seven high schools from throughout New Hampshire will compete in a freestyle race in the first leg of a 7-part race series. Schools include: Profile, Inter-Lakes, Hopkinton, Gorham, Derryfield, Moultonbourough and Sunapee.

As part of the nationwide program, Winter Feels Good, Great Glen Trails will offer free cross country skiing and snowshoeing to first timers on Saturday, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

It's the ultimate test of Nordic skiing endurance!
The Great Glen Nordic 300 is a 300-minute cross country ski race. Borrowing from Great Glen Trails’ signature summer mountain biking event, the 24 Hours of Great Glen, the goal of the competitors in the Great Glen Nordic 300 is to ski as many laps as possible in 300 minutes. First held in 2007, race organizers see the Great Glen Nordic 300 growing every year into one of the most prestigious ski challenges in New England.

Ski to the Clouds
North America’s Toughest 10K. Raced on the trails at Great Glen Trails and then up to the finish at treeline on the Mt. Washington Auto Road, Ski to the Clouds includes a climb of more than 2200 vertical feet over the final 6 kilometers. The race is a true freestyle event: skiers can use either skating or classic technique.

The log cabin at Great Angel Station replaced the yurt that blew down in a terrific wind storm in December, 2000.
