Junior Development Program
Focus on technique, skills and fun.
2/25 - Update
From Coach Steve: "This Sunday we will be Great Glen Trails. Please bring both your skate and classic skis, and we'll see what the weather brings us."
|
Great Glen Trails is proud to work with the Mount Washington Nordic Club and Jackson Ski Touring Foundation to provide the Junior Program, which is all about development. Now in its eleventh year at Great Glen Trails, the Junior Program focuses on technique and fitness development for aspiring skiers ages 12-18. The program includes high level coaching, ski skills development in both freestyle and classic technique and fun. But, this is serious fun. |

Learning to be a better skier isn't always about boring drills and hardcore training tactics. Learning to be a better skier should be about learning to truly love the sport. The development of young skiers not only helps make them skiers for life, but it also helps them become better skiers and better ski racers. The Junior Program is designed specifically to make juniors better skiers. It's the perfect program for skiers looking to grow their skiing through personal attention and focused work. We'll use games designed to not only teach skills and teamwork, but also to have fun and mix it up. |
The Junior Program is hosted by both Great Glen Trails and Jackson Ski Touring Foundation. Throughout the winter season, the program will alternate locations each session. Program price includes a season pass for both touring centers. Program is on Sundays from 12:30pm - 3:00pm.
