Ryan Triffitt Joins the Mt. Washington Auto Road and Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center as Director of Marketing

Director of Marketing Ryan Triffitt
Pinkham Notch, NH—Ryan Triffitt has joined the Mt. Washington Auto Road and Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center as Director of Marketing. Triffitt brings a diverse range of marketing expertise and an understanding of tourism, outdoor recreation and fitness.
Triffitt will be responsible for marketing strategy and implementation and public relations for these unique attractions. With distinct winter and summer markets, Triffitt will be charged with defining the brands and showcasing the attractions to new guests. Throughout the year, both attractions host a wide variety of events that Triffitt will be charged will publicizing.
“We’re excited to have Ryan join our team,” said Howie Wemyss, General Manager. “He brings not only keen marketing sense and public relations savvy, but he also understands what we are all about since he has been skiing and running as a guest here for so long.”
Previously, Triffitt was Account Manager at Dwell Creative, an advertising agency in Portland, Maine focused on environmental, natural and cultural resources. At Dwell Creative, Triffitt worked with the National Park Service, Maine Department of Agriculture, the Environmental and Energy Technology Council of Maine and a number of other for- and non-profit clients. He also spent four years as Account Planner at Glen Group of North Conway, New Hampshire working with the New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development, National Forest Service, Carrabassett Valley Academy and Ski New Hampshire. Prior to joining Glen Group, Triffitt was Communications Manager at Sunday River Ski Resort.
An avid cross country skier, runner and backpacker, Triffitt has hiked all of New Hampshire’s 4,000 foot mountains, backpacked more than 1,600 miles of the Appalachian Trail, competed in a number of cross country ski marathons and owns more than a dozen pairs of skis. He currently resides in Topsham, Maine with his wife, Danielle, and their cat, Ronnie, and Spathiphyllum, Fred.
