Pinkham Notch, NH—On Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and 3, Great Glen Trails will host Women’s Fall Escape. Designed for women by women, Women’s Fall Escape is a weekend full of activities to promote health, relaxation and fun.
Women’s Fall Escape is highlighted by kayaking trips, fly fishing clinics and biking tours. A camera is an essential piece of gear for the kayak trips, which will take place on the Androscoggin River, offering fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities, including moose, eagles and osprey. Fly fishing clinics will focus on the basic skills and techniques, all while enjoying the serenity of this great sport. Mountain biking rounds out the top hits for weekend with biking tours on the carriage roads at Great Glen Trails. Intermediate biking tours will venture further into the forest exploring the singletrack.
On Saturday evening, dinner will be followed by a bonfire and star gazing presentation. And, throughout the weekend other activities include yoga, massage, Nordic walking, tours up the Mt. Washington Auto Road or a guided hike to Lowe’s Bald Spot.
In order to ensure good small group dynamics, this program will be limited to 20 participants. Cost is $145 per person, includes meals. Additional fees for massage. Space is still available. Register online or call Kelly Evans at 603.466.2333.
