Planning Your Trip

Suggestions on how to plan and maximize your day of adventure

Located at the base of the Mt. Washington Auto Road in Pinkham Notch, New Hampshire, Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center offers a variety of winter activities and events for families, friends and groups of all ages and abilities. Always check our hours of operations and Snow Report for the most up-to-date conditions.

Book a stay at the GLEN HOUSE HOTEL and SKI for FREE!
Completed in 2018 with a nod to the past but looking to the future, the Glen House hotel features trailside access, a full service restaurant and boasts geothermal heating and cooling and near carbon neutral energy. Guests staying at the Glen House ski for free! You must pick up voucher at the front desk.

Morning SNOWCOACH and Afternoon TUBING
Bookable online, reserve your SnowCoach trip for an 8:45am or 10:30am departure, and be back in time to enjoy lunch on your own or at our Glen View Cafe. Our tables are spread out with limited capacity, so be sure to give space for other folks to enjoy their lunch too. Then head over to our tubing hill anytime after 1pm for an afternoon session on the best sliding in the east. We will give you a shuttle or you can drive yourself.

Morning TUBING and Afternoon SKI RENTAL
Get the wiggles out in your morning tubing session from 9am to 12pm. Recoup with homemade soup and a hot chocolate from the Glen View Cafe. We have a few grab-and-go snacks and drinks as well if you'd prefer to sit outside and enjoy the view. Then hit the trails and take advantage of our 1/2 day rates for ski rentals and passes!

Morning SNOWCOACH and Afternoon SNOWSHOE
Reserve your SnowCoach trip for a morning departure, and leave your afternoon to enjoy the solice and solitude of the trails. You can meander on our groomed trails or amp it up on our backcountry dog-friendly trails. Want to get your own set? Check out our selection of snowshoes in our esteemed gear shop; our staff will help you make the right choice for the terrain you want to explore.
