Biking

For all ages and abilities

It's just like riding a bike!

CARRIAGE ROADS—PERFECT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Our smooth and well-marked carriage roads let you explore the forest and take in the mountain views. Pedal through beautiful meadows, pass scenic rivers and see stunning mountain vistas. Go at your own pace. Bring a picnic lunch and stop at the river or Great Angel Cabin. Wide carriage roads are marked green for novice / beginner and blue for intermediate.

Bringing your own bike? Just get a Trail Pass! Be sure to bring your helmet.

E-bikes are prohibited as we are on a US Forest Service easement.

CHALLENGING SINGLE TRACK FOR MORE ADVENTUROUS RIDERS

Throughout the Great Glen Trails network you’ll find sections of single and double track. These trails are perfect to get your heart racing and are featured in our various bike events. They are marked from easier, to intermediate to expert. Sorry, no E-bikes!

2 OR 4 HOUR BIKE RENTALS

Need to rent? We offer a full fleet of adult and children’s mountain bikes from Kona, fatbikes from Reid, and comfort bikes from Schwinn. All bike rentals include a Trail Pass and a helmet.

We also offer Bike Trailers for toddlers as well as Trail-A-Bikes for youth.
