Washington Auto Road and at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center is strictly prohibited unless advance permission has been granted. Please contact our Marketing Director, at 603-466-3988 at least two weeks prior to the event. This applies to all activities and events taking place on the property. Violators will be prosecuted.

Directions:

Great Glen Trails is located on Route 16 in Pinkham Notch at the base of Mt. Washington, the Northeast’s highest peak at 6,288′, in New Hampshire’s White Mountain Region. The views and mountains of the Northern Presidential Mountains and 750,000 acre White Mountain National Forest surround you.

Our location is 10 miles north of the classic New England village of Jackson, 19 miles north of North Conway and 8 miles south of Gorham.

 

By Car
From Boston, North & South Shores & Rhode Island:
Follow I-95 North to the Spaulding Turnpike in Dover, NH to Rt. 16 North. Follow through North Conway, NH towards Glen, NH, then follow Rt. 16 North through Pinkham Notch. Great Glen Trails is approximately 2 miles north of Wildcat Ski Area.

From Boston Metro-West, Nashua & Manchester, NH:
Follow I-93 North through Franconia Notch to Rt. 3 North. Follow to Rt. 115 in Twin Mountain, NH. Then take Rt. 115 to Rt. 2 in Jefferson, NH, follow Rt. 2 East to Rt. 16 and then follow Rt. 16 eight miles South out of Gorham, NH to the Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center.

From Western New England, Mid-Atlantic States and Montreal:
Follow I-91 to US 302 East to Rt. 3 North to Rt. 115 North Rt. 2 East to Rt. 16 South. Great Glen Trails is located on Rt. 16, approximately 8 miles south of Gorham, NH on the left.

 

By Air
Boston, MA: Logan Airport is a 3 hour drive away
Portland, Maine: The Jetport is a 2 1/4 hour drive
Manchester, NH: Airport is 2 1/2 hours away.
