Another little blast of snow last night. Keeping everything white and beautiful. We have left the premium classic tracks from yesterday and resurfaced the skate lane last night, so the trail was able to solidify quite nicely. This fresh dusting should make for some amazing skiing in both disciplines, with the firm base under and a few freshies on top.
Nordic Meisters went off without a hitch again yesterday, beautiful weather and great conditions lead to some very fun skiing and vibes. Check out the website for Results if you haven’t yet, and join us next week!
Classic Corner: More warm fresh snow, means we are still in klister covered territory. With the tracks being untouched from yesterday they will have a lot of humidity in them and after the first ski the new snow should melt away substantially, leaving a really nice gliding surface. If you are coming in the morning I would lay down a layer of Silver Klister (Swix Kx40s) and cover with Blue Extra stick. As the temps increase and the tracks get skied more, maybe move the klister to a Silver Uni, but I would keep a cover wax on all day, as one step outside the tracks with pure klister could cause instant icing.
