SNOW REPORT
3PM UPDATE Sunday, March 22, 2026
I know, I know, two emails today, does it get any better? HAHA, just kidding, emails like this are probably why we lose subscribers LOL.
Just wanted you all to know – especially our passholders, I just groomed out the core trails that you can see on Nordic Pulse (also available on your winter season pass via the QR code on the back). Storm total so far as of 3 pm is about 5 inches and still falling.
Will we have great skate skiing tomorrow? NO. Will we have over 10k rolled out for you to get your World Cup fever on the trails? YES. As well as 30 kilometers for snowshoeing, including 10 kilometers that are dog-friendly.
Hours this week for skiing, snowshoeing, and the Outfitters Shop are 9 am – 4 pm.
Possibly the last Sunday Sermon of 2026: How fitting for me to tell this short story during a snow storm…
We may not report tomorrow, and I, for some reason, feel it is my duty to pay tribute on the anniversary of the original Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center lodge. Yes, tomorrow marks 25 years since it burned. If you had been in the lodge, you would know what a gem we lost. If you had never seen it, just imagine one of the nicest timber frame Nordic Lodges built in the United States. It was quite a space for the times. Don’t worry, nobody was hurt, but all was lost. A quick decision by Howie and the Board of Directors was to push forward, and so we did, and here we are.
Happy spring, everyone, and be sure to get out there on the trails that never changed. GGT = #31yearsstrong
